Pittsburgh Airport Marks 20th Anniversary with Family Fun Day Saturday

The airport celebrates its history with live music, kids' activities and exhibits Saturday.

Make some time this Saturday to stop by the Pittsburgh International  Airport for their free Family Fun Day.  The event celebrates the airport's 20th anniversary, observed earlier this week, and will be held at the Landside Terminal from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parking is free, too.

Activities include live music, activities for children—including bouncy houses, a giant slide and obstacle challenges—and an aviation models exhibit.  The exhibit will feature models and artifacts from Allegheny County Airport Authority employees, airlines, and other airport family employees.

The event is hosted by the Allegheny County Airport Authority.

Please note that all airside terminal tours are sold out and registration is closed.  If you are already registered for the tour, plan to arrive at your scheduled tour time on Saturday.
