PennDOT to Tar and Chip Moon Roadways

Surface repairs to cause lane closures this week on Beaver Grade, Moon Clinton roads.

Motorists can expect lane closures on several township roadways this week while PennDOT crews apply a seal coating to road surfaces.

The lane closures will take place through July 1 on area roads, including Moon Clinton and Beaver Grade roads, according to a PennDOT statement.

The annual road sealing operation, sometimes called tar and chipping, is designed to preserve the roadway and reduce pothole formation.
