Pa. Unemployment Rate Drops to 6.4% in January

The commonwealth’s unemployment rate is slightly better than the country’s as a whole.

Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate has fallen to 6.4 percent, the state announced Friday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry on Friday released state unemployment statistics for January 2014, the most recent month for which they are available.

The numbers show that in January, Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate was slightly better than the nation’s, which was 6.6 percent.

Pennsylvania’s January 2013 unemployment rate was 7.8 percent; the December 2013 rate was 6.8 percent.

Bob why would you blame the corps.? When the government forces the corps to go over seas because of taxes. They tax the shit out of businesses. And just think people you want to blame the corps for everything, but they start as a small business too. They don't just all of a sudden pop up as a huge business.

Actually, I agree with you, StGabes. We are losing our freedoms. If you don't have health insurance through work, Obamacare is forcing you to buy it and you may have to pay $600 or more a month for it, even if you are just an average income earner. And, they're forcing you to buy insurance that meets their credentials, and if not, you lose your insurance, and/or doctor. I can't believe more people aren't against this.
