Moon to Host Annual Township Recycling Day

The event takes place June 2.

The Moon Township Environmental Advisory Committee on June 2 will sponsor its annual township recycling day at the Moon Municipal Building. 

Residents can drop off used items including tires, appliances, electronics and construction materials at the event, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to township residents only. 

The township will also conduct electronics collects events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 28 and Oct. 27 in front of the Moon Municipal Building. Residents can drop off items such as printers, laptops and televisions for proper disposal.
