Election 2012: Robinson and Moon Legislative Races

State House 44th District: 

Republican incumbent state Rep. Mark Mustio defeated Democratic challenger Mark Scappe for the state house 44th district. Both candidates reside in Moon. 

Results:

Election results, State House 44th district: Precincts reporting: 100 percent Mustio: 61.77 percent 20,177 votes
Scappe: 38.10 percent 12,445 votes

 

State Senate 37th District: 

Pennsylvania Rep. Matt Smith, a Democrat, defeated Mt. Lebanon software CEO and Republican D. Raja for the seat in the 37th senate district. 

Results: 

Election results, state senate 37th district: Precincts reporting: 100 percent  Smith: 53.95 percent 62,058 votes
Raja: 45.90 percent 52,797 votes

 

State House 16th District

Pennsylvania Rep. Rob Matzie, a Democrat, won re-election against Republican challenger Kathleen Coder in the 16th district, which includes Crescent Township. 

Results: 

Election results, state house 16th district Precincts reporting: 100 percent Coder: 45.30 5,460 votes
Matzie: 54.57 6,577 votes

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
