Wheels and Tires Stolen from Car at Moon Township Dealership

Police said the new 2014 was recently placed on the car lot.

Moon police recently handled several thefts involving vehicles in the township, including a report of tires stripped from a new vehicle.

Police said someone stole all four wheels and tires from an unregistered 2014 Volkswagen Jetta parked on the Target Auto Sales lot at 5252 University Boulevard.

A service manager at Day Apollo Inc., which owns the lot, called police at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 to report the thefts after workers moving vehicles noticed the wheels and tires missing from the gray, four-door car.
