Vehicle Break-In Reported on Greenlea Drive

Police blotter for Monday, April 4.

Moon Police said thieves broke into a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Greenlea Drive this weekend and removed a laptop computer valued at more than $200. 

The theft was reported at 8 a.m. April 1. Police did not say if other items were stolen or if the vehicle was damaged during the break-in.

Police said two cars were broken into last week at Bon Meade Elementary School. A vehicle break-in was also reported in March at . No arrests have been made in connection with those incidents.

  • Kapriciana Dayod Childs, 19, of Aliquippa, was charged with underage drinking and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2 a.m. March 27 on Stoops Ferry Road. 
  • Michael W. Latshaw, 38, of Moon, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at midnight March 26 at the intersection of Shafer and Brodhead roads. 
  • Darold Nathan Cain, 25, of Aliquippa, was charged with theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. The time and date of the arrest were unavailable. Cain is charged with stealing a wallet containing a debit card and $415 in cash from a car parked at Eat'n Park in February. 
  • Sean L. Vaksman, 29, of Blawnox, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, forgery and two counts of access device fraud on March 21. He is accused of stealing a PNC Bank debit card on the 911th Air Force Reserve base.
