Three Laptop Computers Stolen in Weekend Thefts

Police report the computers were stolen from vehicles in the same township neighborhood.

said three laptop computers and other electronics were stolen this weekend from vehicles parked on Skylark Drive.

Thieves entered at least five unlocked vehicles parked on the 400 block of Skylark Drive sometime over the weekend, removing GPS systems, two iPods and other items, according to police reports. The thefts, each valued at more than $200, were reported by vehicle owners on Sunday and Monday. 

Police said three laptop computers were taken from three separate vehicles during the string of thefts. No damage or forced entry to the vehicles was reported.

No one has been charged in connection to the incidents. 

Police also recently reported the following incidents and arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt:

  • Simone Renee Mitchell, 36, of Moon, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 9 on Oak Drive. 
  • Gemma Leigh Williamson, 24, of Bellvue, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, speeding and failure to use traffic controls, at 2 a.m. Oct. 16 at the intersection of University Boulevard and Beaver Grade Road.
