Thief Uses Stolen Company Gas Card to Charge $6,041 in Fuel

The card, stolen from Omnicare Pharmacy Service in Robinson Township a year ago, has been used mostly in the Rochester/Baden area.

An employee of Omnicare Pharmacy Service alerted Robinson Township police after discovering that someone had used a stolen gas card to charge $6,041 in fuel since March 31, 2012.

No one noticed it was missing or the fraudulent purchases until this month, according to a police report.

The company's staff uses Wright Express gas cards, which are locked up after business hours. Each person has a PIN number, but an employee told police he had given that number to other co-workers.

One of those co-workers is still employed by the company. The other is not.

The police report indicates most of the purchases were made in the Rochester/Baden area of Beaver County.
