Police Charge Robinson Man with Heroin Possession

Robinson Township Police blotter for Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Robinson Township Police made the following recent arrests and responded to the following incidents. Each item is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction: 

  • Jason Mark Ferrelli, 35, of West Virginia, was charged with carrying a firearm without a permit, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms on the evening of Oct. 7. Robinson officers said Ferrelli was found carrying a handgun inside Applebee's on Steubenville Pike. The gun belonged to his girlfriend.  
  • Alfred Brown, 54, of Robinson, was charged with retail theft, giving false identification to law enforcement, prohibited acts and public drunkenness on Oct. 8 outside of Sears on Robinson Centre Drive.
  • Robert Cooney Jr., 30, of Robinson, was charged with two counts of heroin possession, driving with windshield obstructions and driving with expired emissions tags Oct. 7 on Steubenville Pike. Police said he was found with several heroin stamp bags, a spoon and hypodermic needles. 
  • Ashley Ritchey, 25, of Aliquippa, was charged with heroin possession Oct. 15 outside of the Mall at Robinson.
