Public Safety Building Evacuated after Reports of Suspicious Odor

Employees report smelling kerosene.

The Moon Public Safety Building was briefly evacuated Friday after reports of a strange odor in the building.

The building was evacuated shortly before 10 p.m. after reports of a kerosene odor in the Beaver Grade Road building.

Police said they were not certain on what caused the odor and employees were able to return to work after a brief investigation.
