Police Seek 20-Year-Old Who Allegedly Escaped

Justin Eugene McElroy of Waynesburg allegedly did not return to Pittsburgh corrections center, police said.

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a 20-year-old Waynesburg man who allegedly escaped from a corrections center.

Justin Eugene McElroy of Waynesburg did not return Feb. 5 to Renewal Community Corrections Center at 339 Boulevard of the Allies in Pittsburgh, police said.

"McElroy is currently serving time for burglary, has numerous juvenile offenses, and has previous escape charges," according to a statement from state police.

McElroy is described as 5-foot-9, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police also said he has tattoos -- a cross and the word "rebel" on his left arm; "JMAC" on his chest;  "McElroy" on his right leg; and barbed wire on his right arm.

The state police are asking anyone with information about McElroy to contact them at 412-787-2000.
