Police Charge Beaver Falls Man with Cocaine Possession

Police blotter for Thursday, April 21.

Moon Police made the following recent arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

  • Patrick J. Brown, 25, of Beaver Falls, was charged with drug possession, intent to deliver cocaine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of crack cocaine and resisting arrest at 2:30 p.m. April 18 on Thorn Run Road. Brown also was wanted on a warrant in Beaver County stemming from an incident earlier this month. Police said he resisted arrest and attempted to throw a bag of cocaine when police apprehended him. The time of the arrest was unavailable.

  • Shandale Lynne Knox, 19, of Rochester, was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:30 p.m. April 18 on Thorn Run Road. Police said she was traveling with Brown at the time of her arrest

  • Jasper Harris, 20, of Beaver Falls, was charged with hindering apprehension and prosecution, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at 2:30 p.m. April 18 on Thorn Run Road. Police said he was traveling with Brown at the time of his arrest.

  • Joshua Matthew Newman, 32, of McKees Rocks, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 14 on Thorn Run Road. The time of the arrest was unavailable.

  • Frank A. Marchelletta III, 54, of Coraopolis, was charged with three counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:30 a.m. April 14 on Coraopolis Heights Road. He was involved in a two-car accident at the time of his arrest. No injuries were reported in the incident.
