Pair Charged with Stealing TV from Kmart

said two men who stole a television from Kmart on Market Place Boulevard returned to the store's grounds just one day after the theft.

Police said Jonathan Adam Barger, 22, of Imperial, and Clifford George Yoders, 31, of Clinton, stole a television valued at $349.99 from Jan. 14 and sold it to an unidentified person.

Yoders was charged Jan. 15 with receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy, driving with a suspended license and being a defiant trespasser. Barger was also charged Jan. 15 with receiving stolen property, retail theft and criminal conspiracy

Police said Barger is seen on store surveillance footage entering the store just before midnight Jan. 14 and grabbing a 32-inch Samsung television before fleeing the store.

Store staff called police Jan. 15 after reporting a suspicious vehicle in the store's parking lot. Both Yoder and Barger waived their Miranda rights and provided police with a confession.
