Nearby: Police Investigate Armed Robbery at BP Station

No one is hurt, although police say the suspect did display a handgun.

Northern Regional Police are investigating an armed robbery at the BP Gas station and convenience store located in the T-Bones shopping plaza on Route 910 near the I-79 interchange in Wexford.

Police Chief T. Robert Amann said a white man, about 6 feet tall and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans, held up the convenience store between the gas pumps at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday. Amann said the man did show a handgun to store workers.

After the robbery, police said the suspect ran across route 910 and jumped into a car, which was parked at Soergel's market. The vehicle was described as a grey small vehicle, possibly a Dodge Avenger, which drove off on southbound Brandt School Road.
