Police helped Halfhill into the door, and police said she screamed obscenities, snapped out and violently punched and clawed at a man, later identified as her boyfriend. Police said he was bleeding from a long cut from the base of his neck to his clavicle.

Police got between the two and led Halfhill to the door. She tried to twist away while being handcuffed and at the police station, she was highly agitated and argumentative.
