Moon Volunteer Firefighters Host Annual Lenten Fish Fry

The fire department kicks off its annual fundraiser.

The Moon Township Volunteer Fire Department on Friday will kick off its annual fish fry for the Lenten season. 

The fish fry, run by firefighters and volunteers, will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 pm. each Friday of the Lenten season, wrapping up March 29, at the Moon Township Public Safety Building, 1000 Beaver Grade Road.

The event serves as one of the fire department's largest yearly fundraisers.

All food on the menu is available for order-in or take-out. 

Items on the menu include: 

  • Fish dinner
  • Chicken dinner
  • Shrimp dinner
  • Fish sandwich
  • Desserts provided by the department's ladies axillary
  • All dinners come with a side of fries and the department's firehouse coleslaw recipe
