Moon, Robinson Police to Participate in National Drug Take-Back Day

Residents can drop off old and unused prescription medications to police.

Local police departments will serve as collection sites for unwanted drugs.

Moon and Robinson Township police departments will take part Saturday, April 27 in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

The event, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Agency, runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can drop off unused and old prescriptions at either 1000 Beaver Grade Road in Moon or the Mall at Robinson, 1000 Robinson Center Drive.

The event allows for expired or unused medications to be properly disposed. Participating departments are also accepting illegal drugs, no questions asked.
