Moon Prostitution Suspect Waives Hearing
Three women charged with working as prostitutes in Moon Township appeared this week in Coraopolis District Court.
A Las Vegas woman charged with working as a prostitute in Moon Township waived her right to a preliminary hearing this week in Coraopolis District Court.
Erica Johnson, 23, is charged with promoting prostitution, conspiracy and possessing instruments of crime after her Oct. 29 arrest at the Super 8 motel in Moon Township. A charge of promoting prostitution was withdrawn.
She is scheduled to face a formal arraignment on Jan. 10.

Moon Police said in a complaint Johnson advertised herself as an escort in the Moon area via the online classifieds website Backpages.com.
Johnson was arrested at the hotel with 33-year-old Taylor Sydney, of California. Prostitution charges against Sydney have been dismissed, according to court records.

Shawna Pansegrau, 27, of Minnesota, was also charged with working as a prostitute in Moon Township on the night of Oct. 29 at the La Quinta Inn & Suites on University Boulevard.
Pansegrau is charged with promoting prostitution and possessing instruments of crime. A felony charge of promoting prostitution was withdrawn.
Pansegrau faces a formal arraignment on Jan. 10.
