Police blotter for Monday, Oct. 31.

Moon Police recently reported the following incidents and arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

  • Police responded to a call at 4:20 p.m. Oct. 24 from Moon resident Daryl Maurer, 21, who asked to have his ex-girlfriend removed from his Moon Clinton Road apartment. Police said that because the woman, Erin Stoll, also lived in the apartment, they could not force her out. Twenty minutes later, Stoll called Moon Police, claiming that Maurer had assaulted her after an argument. Maurer went to the at the same time to complain that Stoll had, in fact, assaulted him. Based on physical evidence, Maurer was arrested and taken to Allegheny County jail, where he was charged with domestic assault.
  • Moon resident Phillip Eric Turner, 47, of Oak Drive, was cited with public drunkenness on Oct. 29. A Moon Police officer stated that Turner displayed outward signs of intoxication on Juniper Drive at approximately 10:30 p.m. Oct. 28. He was taken into custody and transported to the public safety building, where he stayed overnight.
