Moon Police Arrest Man for Violating Sex Offender Registry

Moon Police made the following recent arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

  •  Lishaw Cooper, 35, of Moon, was charged with failure to comply with requirements for registration of sexual offenders on Wednesday on Lee Drive.
  • Richard A. Rygalski Sr., 57, of Moon, was charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment on Friday.
  • Stephen Warfield Bailey, 32, of Moon, and Kevin M. Cassidy, 50, of Sewickley, were charged with public drunkenness on Friday.
  • Police also responded to a criminal-mischief report at the Embassy Suites Hotel on 550 Cherrington Parkway. Officers found someone had removed the cash box from a vending machine at 3:30 a.m. Monday.
