Moon Police Make Arrests for Possession and Theft

Moon Police made the following arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

•  Michael Glenn Koran, 20, Moon, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana on April 29 at 11:32 p.m. at Maple Street.
• Tyler Jay Ballenger, 21, Moon, was charged with possession of a small amount of maruanna on April 29 at 11:32 p.m. at Maple Street.
• Michael Glenn Koran, 20, Moon, was charged with four counts of theft, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and simple trespassing on April 30 at 3:44 a.m. on Coraopolis Heights Road.
• Tyler Jay Ballenger, 21, Moon, was cited for criminal trespassing on April 30 at 3:44 a.m. on Coraopolis Heights Road.
• Amanda M. Morvak, 29, Moon, was picked up on a warrant on May 2 on Forest Green Drive.  Warrant had been issued for arrest with charges of access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, forgery and identify theft.
• Report of an incident of theft on May 2 at 12:20 p.m. on Smallwood Street. Police report resident reported A Garmin Nuvi GPS worth $150 and a portable Phillips DVD player worth $100 were stolen from two vehicles. .
