Moon Police Make Arrests for Drunken Driving, Public Drunkenness

Moon Police made the following recent arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

• Marissa Ann Chute, 19, of New Brighton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, underage drinking and driving the wrong way on the Sewickley Bridge. The time and date of the arrest were unavailable. 
• Michael J. Simmons, 48, of Monaca, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 1 a.m. on Feb. 27 at the intersection of Beaver Grade Road and University Boulevard. 
• Thomas Sebastian Gentile, 55, of Moon, was charged with public drunkenness at 5 a.m. on Feb. 27 on Moon-Clinton Road. 
• Samantha Moneira Alves, 19, of Moon, was charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct at 12 a.m. on Feb. 27 on Bridle Trail. 
• Erin Louise Knepper, 20, of Somerset, was charged with underage drinking at 12 a.m. on Feb. 27 on Bridle Trail. 
• Colby Wheeler, 19, of Moon, was charged with underaged drinking as 12 a.m. on Feb. on Bridle Trail.
