Moon Police Charge Two Women With Prostitution

The women unknowingly met a detective at Motel 6.

Moon Township police have charged two Venango County women with prostitution, according to the Ellwood City Ledger.

A Moon detective stated in a criminal complaint obtained by the newspaper that he was investigating Internet prostitution in March when he found an ad at Pittsburgh Backpage Escorts offering a "two-girl special" for $340.

The detective stated he met Jessica Armant, 19, and Samantha Anderson, 20, of Franklin, at Motel 6 in Moon in March. The detective reportedly paid $340 to watch the women have sex and was offered other services for an additional $25.

Following the arrests, the women were given time to seek drug addiction treatment, but in May the detective reportedly again saw their online ad this time asking for a $340 donation.
