Moon Police Charge Pittsburgh Man with Forgery

made the following recent arrests and responded to the following recent incidents. Each item is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction. 

  • James Richard Kernick, 21, of Moon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, and three counts possession of drug paraphernalia at 11 p.m. March 22. 
  • Justin Marcus Reid, 24, of Pittsburgh was charged with forgery and 12 counts of theft by deception on March 29. Police accuse him of making more than $2,000-worth of fraudulent transitions at on University Boulevard. 
  • Kimberly Ann Kowaleski, 30, of Moon, was charged with theft by unlawful taking at 2 p.m. March 27 on Market Place Boulevard.
