Bicyclist Charged with DUI, Failure to Obey Traffic Signs

 made the following arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt. 

Jamie Goerman, 37, of Moon, was charged at 5 p.m. July 31 with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and failure to properly stop and yield at traffic signs. The incident occurred at the intersection of Thorn Run Road and Mooncrest Drive. 

Goerman is charged with driving his bicycle into a car, causing a two-vehicle crash at the intersection.

Officer Ian Lucas, who was at the scene, reported that Goerman was "intoxicated and unable to operate his bicycle" at the time of the incident. 

Lucas said the impact from Goerman's bicycle caused minor damage to the front passenger side of the car involved.

  • Jami Marie Barr, 28, of Washington, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving without insurance and driving under a suspended registration at 7 a.m. Aug. 31 on Old Thorn Run Road. She was charged after being involved in a one-vehicle crash on the roadway. She was treated by paramedics at the scene of the crash. 
  • Zachary George Brucker, 20, of Moon, was charged with criminal mischief at 11 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 100 block of Juniper Drive. 
  • Jennifer L. Stisack, 28, of Moon, was charged with simple assault at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 6. The location of the arrest was unavailable.
