Moon Police Investigate Airport Hotel Theft

Police blotter for Feb. 10.

Moon Police made the following recent arrests in the township. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

  • Moon police investigated reports of multiple vending machine thefts at the Pittsburgh International Airport Marriott on Feb. 8.  Hotel staff reported that during the last week, someone broke into multiple vending machines. Lock mechanisms on the machines were drilled and money was removed. The amount of money taken from the machines was not released.  
  • William R. Harris, 70, of Coraopolis, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 11:18 p.m. on Feb. 4 on University Boulevard. 
  • Douglas Alan Fait, 19, of Greensburg, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and underage drinking 2:10 a.m. Feb. 4 on Colony West Drive. 
  • Nathan Christopher Posey, 19, of Moon, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and underage drinking at 2:10 a.m. Feb. 4 on Colony West Drive.
