Man Faces Multiple Charges After Physical Fight at Skylark Bar

Robinson police recover gun in incident at bar on Moon-Clinton Road April 13.

Tyler Allen Perez, 29, of Moon faces numerous charges after a fight on April 13 at the Skylark Motor Inn bar on Moon Clinton Road.

Moon Township police received a report that a fight broke out at the bar and that one man had a gun. The man, identified as Perez, fled into the woods when police were called.

A police report indicates Perez was "highly intoxicated" when he was apprehended. Police recovered the gun—a stolen, black Hi-Point C9 semi-automatic.

Police charged Perez with two misdemeanor counts of persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms and one felony count of persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms. He also faces one count each of carrying firearms without a license, receiving stolen property, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Perez remains in the Allegheny County Jail, unable to post a $10,000 bond. He faces a preliminary hearing before District Judge Mary Murray at 9:30 a.m. April 23.
