Man Charged with Possessing Child Pornography

A former Coraopolis man was sentenced to 60 months in prison.

A former Coraopolis man pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing child pornography. 

David Riley, 45, formerly of Sixth Avenue, was sentenced this week to 60 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release by Chief United States Judge Gary L. Lancaster. 

Riley was charged with possessing photographs that featured a minor under the age of 16 acting in sexually explicit manner. Prosecutors said Riley was in possession of the photographs between 1998 and 2000.
