Man Charged in Shafer Road Burglary Waives Hearing
The man was charged Dec. 5 with stealing a jewelry box.
A Pittsburgh man who police said burglarized a home on Shafer Road waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Coraopolis District Court.
Brian Flesher, 26, is charged with burglary, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after police said he kicked down a door on Shafer Road and stole a jewelry box.
The home's owner and her teenage daughter arrived home on Dec. 5 to find Flesher's vehicle parked in their driveway. The teen snapped a photo of the car's license plate, which police used to track him down near his Brighton Heights home.
