An Imperial man was charged Wednesday with corruption of minors, interference with the custody of children, statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person with a mental disability, Peters Township police reported.
Alexander W. Story, 19, was arraigned Wednesday before district Judge James Ellis, and was remanded to the Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.
He made bail later that day and was released.
Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on Sherwood Drive and found Story and a Peters Township girl who is either 14 or 15 engaged in a sex act in the vehicle. The two reportedly met online, according to The Almanac.
Story is scheduled to appear before Ellis for a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Aug. 7, online court records show.
