Nearby: Gunshot Victim Turns Up at Sewickley Hospital

Police said the injured 26-year-old was shot in the back.

Sewickley police were summoned early Sunday morning to Heritage Valley Sewickley hospital after being alerted to a gunshot wound victim who had arrived in the emergency room.

Police responded at 2:42 a.m. and spoke to Tywan Willis, 26, of Aliquippa, who told officers he was shot in the back near the Quippian bar in Aliquippa.

Sewickley officers forwarded information onto the Aliquippa police department in Beaver County.

Willis was stabilized and transported by Valley Ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
