Moon Supervisors approved the termination of Klotz last week stemming from his July 8 arrest on simple assault and false imprisonment charges.

Klotz, 45, is accused of pushing his wife, causing her to hit her head, and refusing to let her leave the house.

He had been with the Moon police department for 23 years.
