 1. Moon Area School Board to meet

2. Moon Police promote seat belt safety

The department will be present at the campus this week to promote seat belt safety for teen drivers. The campaign spotlights Pennsylvania's newly instated Lacey's Law, which makes driving without a seat belt a primary offense for motorists younger than 18.

4. Moon elementary students get the day off

Moon Area School District's elementary schools will be closed today for an Act 80 professional development day. Staff and faculty will report to work. 

The district's high school and middle school will remain open. 

5. Moon community meetings scheduled

The Moon Environmental Advisory Council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Moon Municipal Building.
