Firefighters Rescue Two Pets in Robinson House Fire

A fire damaged a home on Saturday in Robinson Township and injured two pets, according to reports.

No one was home when the fire started shortly after 1 p.m. in the 900 block of Windsor Court in the Cloverleaf Estates.

Moon Run Fire Chief Paul Kashmer told WPXI they found two dogs inside that seemed to be alive. One was walking around, and firefighters brought it out. The other dog rescued was in a cage.

"I think they both will recover," Fire Chief Paul Kashmer told the news station.

Firefighters suspect the fire started on the deck, but the cause remains under investigation.
