Ex-Pittsburgh Detective Faces Prostitution Hearing

Former officer, California woman charged with prostitution to appear today in Coraopolis District Court.

A second former Pittsburgh detective charged with organizing a prostitution ring is scheduled to appear today in Coraopolis District Court.

, 39, of Charleroi, was charged last week with felony promoting prostitution, five counts of felony corrupt organization and criminal conspiracy after police said he purchased online prostitution advertisements alongside fellow former Pittsburgh narcotics detective .

Holland resigned from the Pittsburgh Police department in 2007 after pleading guilty to forgery charges. 

A California woman charged with felony promoting prostitution also will face a preliminary hearing today in Coraopolis District Court. 

, 25, also was charged last week with misdemeanor prostitution, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possessing instruments of crime following an undercover prostitution sting at the Motel 6 on Thorn Run Road. 

Myers previously has been convicted of prostitution in California.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
