Driver Killed in Robinson Crash May Have Had 'Medical Episode'

A Mercer County man was killed last week while driving on Steubenville Pike.

Robinson Police say a man killed days ago in a one-vehicle crash on Steubenville Pike may have had a medical emergency while driving.

Gregory Unrue, 59, of Fredonia, Mercer County, was killed at 4 a.m. Dec. 7 in front of TJ's Deli Mart at 5942 Steubenville Pike.

Unrue's vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

Robinson Police Chief Dale Vietmeier said no one else was present in the vehicle or injured at the time of the crash.

Vietmeier said Unrue may have had a "medical episode" while behind the wheel. No cause of the crash has been determined.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
