Crescent Woman Killed in Beaver County Crash

Police said the woman was thrown from her vehicle after it struck a guard rail.

A Crescent Township woman was killed late Thursday night in a car crash after her vehicle struck a guard rail and rolled over. 

Pennsylvania State Police said Lisa Anne Kriger, 30, was driving at a high rate of speed along State Route 8003 in Hopewell Township when her 2007 Pontiac G6 went off the left side of the road, traveled up an embankment, and struck a guard rail, causing the car to roll over. Kriger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle.

Police found her along the right berm of Interstate 376 West.

Police said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
