Moon Resident Charged with Burglary, Theft

Moon Police charged the following individuals, who are scheduled for preliminary hearings today at District Judge Mary Murray's court in Coraopolis: 

• Simone Renee Mitchell, 46, of Moon, was charged Oct. 18 with prohibited acts.

• Michelle Christine Tomas, 27, of Moon, was charged Aug. 29 with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving. 

• Derick Michael Turner, 22, of Moon, was charged Oct. 31 with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, burglary and criminal mischief.
