Coraopolis Woman Seriously Injured in Parkway Crash
State Police say alcohol believed to be a factor in early-morning crash.
Pennsylvania State Police said a Coraopolis woman was driving the wrong way on Interstate 376 West when her car collided head-on with another vehicle.
Taylor Walters, 23, was seriously injured in the crash at 1 a.m. today after she was ejected from her Chevrolet Cobalt. State police said she was not wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Walters was driving eastbound on Interstate 376 West near the Campbells Run exit area when she struck a vehicle driven by Yarel Keha, 30, of Akron, OH. After the initial collision, Walters' vehicle struck a guide rail. Keha's Nissan Murano traveled to the right berm of the road and struck a concrete barrier.
