Charges Dismissed Against Moon Woman Accused of Fraud

The woman was charged by Moon Township Police in 2012.

Charges have been dismissed against a Moon Township woman accused of defrauding a senior citizen whom she befriended. 

Jeanette Nolte, 44, was arrested in November on charges of accessing a 63-year-old woman's bank account to obtain a debt card and using it to make fraudulent purchases at Moon and Coraopolis-area businesses. Police said the victim was in poor health at the time of the alleged incident. 

Charges of access device fraud and theft by deception facing Nolte were dismissed Tuesday in Coraopolis District Court, according to court records.

Brian Francis DiCenzo, 30, of Oakdale, who was charged in Moon Township with drug possession in August, waived his charges to court Tuesday. A formal arraignment is scheduled for April 15, according to court records. 

Charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and harassment were held for court against 29-year-old Gregory Alan Dierker, of Moon, who was arrested in August 2011. A charge of tampering with evidence was withdrawn.
