Burglary Suspect to Appear Again in Court

David Jablonsky is accused of targeting Sewickley businesses.

A Coraopolis man  has been charged again with attempting to break into another borough business. 

, 24, of Coraopolis is facing burglary, loitering and prowling at nighttime and simple trespass charges. A hearing has been postponed until Tuesday.

According to a criminal complaint, Sewickley police were called June 10 to , 555 Beaver St., for a report of a burglary in progress. The owner, Carl Bauer, told police he was upstairs when he heard two loud bangs so he went outside to investigate. Bauer saw a man later identified as Jablonsky on a red bicycle on his property. After a confrontation, police said Jablonsky fled.

Police said found dirt and fingerprints smudged on the front door and a screen door was ripped.

Officers found Jablonsky about two blocks away at Beaver and Locust. As police approached, Jablonsky did a U-turn and began to get off his bike as if he was about to run, police said. He was ordered to stop and complied, police said.

Police found Jablonsky with two unknown pills and a woman’s silver and sapphire ring. He also had scuffing and dirt smudged on his arm.

Police said Jablonsky admitted he tried to get inside the store because he thought there might be money inside. Jablonsky had been out on bond while awaiting trial on in connection with .

Police said he distracted merchants at  Video & Audio and  boutique, both on Beaver, in order to steal more than $1,000 combined. 

An $11,000 bond was revoked and Jablonsky was returned to the Allegheny County Jail.
