Visions for Vacancy: What Should Move into the Rodeway Inn?

Tell us what business you would like to see replace this empty motel on University Boulevard.

Vacant buildings and unused storefronts are eyesores, but an empty storefront can also be an opportunity. You don't need to be a commercial developer or city planner—or have money to invest in a business project—to have the next great idea.

The former Rodeway Inn, which Summit Venture Partners LP owns, on University Boulevard has been vacant for years—landscaping surrounding the building is overgrown and windows are boarded up. Patch wants to know what our readers envision for this space.

What business would benefit the Moon area community? How could this space better serve you and your neighbors?

Share your thoughts, ideas and concerns in the comments. Tell us what your vision is for this Moon Township vacancy.

How about we do something the whole community could use? Moon Township Community Center sounds good to me! Use the Peters Twp. center as a model ...great indoor pool, fitness area, indoor track, basketball courts, outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, horse shoe pits,etc.. We could sell off that lousy golf course we wasted money on and also sell the "bored old ladies center"on Thorn Run to finance it....just sayin.

If Kings didn't make a go, why would it work better now?

Please. Let's not reduce Robin Hill's programs to "bored old ladies center". That's just a gratuitous cheap shot.
