Saga Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar puts a sophisticated spin on an entertaining meal. Saga, in Robinson's Settler’s Ridge, is a step up from the everyday hibachi experience. The place is clean, the décor is cool, and the lighting is dim.
It's not just the atmosphere that sets Saga from the rest -- it's the service. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the hibachi chefs not only cook but entertain patrons. The cook will even put on a little song and dance as he prepares your food in front of you. Whether he is singing a Lady Gaga song or lighting your food on fire, the chef is sure to make you laugh.
The restaurant is split into two sides, one side for hibachi and one for those who want to enjoy sushi. There also is a full bar.
Saga offers hearty portions. The menu includes various types of sushi, including California roll, Philadelphia roll, salmon, shrimp and many more. Sushi is $3 to $5 for a two-piece order; sushi entrees, served with soup and salad, are $14 to $29.
Hibachi dinners include two pieces of shrimp, soup, salad, rice, noodles and vegetables with your choice of meat. The hibachi chicken is $17, the shrimp $20 and the filet mignon $24. Combination dinners, such as chicken and shrimp or shrimp and scallops, also are offered. If you aren’t in to hibachi meals, the menu includes traditional entrees, such as chicken, steak, and shrimp, starting at $11.
Saga is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
