Edward A. Papst

Edward A. Papst, 86, of Moon, died Nov. 10 at . He was born Nov. 1, 1925, in Stowe Township.

Papst was a World War II veteran who served in the Air Force. He was a member of the in Moon. He retired from Pittsburgh DesMoines Steel after a 30-year career as a draftsman.

He was the husband of the late Gloria Andrasick. One son and two grandsons survive him.

Services were Nov. 13 at in Moon. Interment and military honors followed the service at Resurrection Cemetary in Moon.

Bill Capkovic

Bill Capkovic, 25, of Moon, died Nov. 10 in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1986.

Capkovic graduated from in 2005 and graduated from the CCBC air traffic control program. He qualified to become a controller for the FAA at the Potomac TRACON Center in Virginia.

His parents, Tom and Sue Capkovic of Moon Township, two siblings and extended family survive him.

Funeral services were at Huntsman Funeral Home in Moon and at . Burial was at Resurrection Cemetary in Moon.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Pittsburgh Northside Common Ministries.

Harold J. Kimmins

Harold J. Kimmins, 78, of Moon, died Nov. 20. He was born April 16, 1933, in Washington, PA.

Three children, one grandson and several siblings survive him.

Kimmins was a history professor at , an avid traveler and author of two published books.

He attended Pittsburgh Xenia Theological Seminary and became a Presbyterian minister and U.S. Navy chaplain. He also attended Westminster College.

Services were private and conducted by Copeland’s Funeral Home in Moon.

Merle Keith Ramsey

Merle Keith Ramsey, 86, of Moon, died Nov. 18 after a battle with cancer. He was born in 1925 in Glenwillard. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and is a graduate of

His wife, Carolyn; three children; several siblings; grand children; and great grandchildren survive him.

Services were earlier this week at . Ramsey was buried with full military honors at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
