Bertha “Betty” M. (Revell) Lalama
Visitation is Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at Copeland's Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. where service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Bertha “Betty” M. (Revell) Lalama, age 81, of Findlay Township, formerly of Sewickley, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at UPMC Mercy.
Betty was born in Newhall, WV on July 8, 1932 to the late Frank and Louise (Walker) Revell. On July 15, 2013, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Anthony J. Lalama.
Loving mother of Lisa A. Lalama (Daniel DePietropaolo, M.D.) of Wilmington, DE, Jeffrey R. Lalama (Alexandra) of Bethel Park and Craig R. Lalama (Laurie) of Findlay Township; cherished grandmother of Megan, Andrew, Candice, Chelsy, Samantha, Brandon and Natalie; sister of Lois Scuilli (the late Paul) of Edgeworth and Judith Messinger (David) of Boston; niece of Frances Mullins; also loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her greatest joy came from the time spent with her grandchildren; Betty was a member of the Beaver Valley Herb Society and the Western PA Unit of the Herb Society of America.
Visitation is Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. where service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Rev. William Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater PA Chapter, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
The family wants to thank Life Pittsburgh, especially Starr, Tony, Karen and all the staff, and also thank Juanita DiNunno who spent years caring for Betty and her husband.
