Nice to see Scott Walkers victory in Wisconsin. I believe it sends a message that the public even in a very liberal state is tired of paying the unionized public workers above average wages and guaranteed pensions. Meanwhile nearly all private industry employees have been moved to 401Ks and IRAs. Hopefully Pennsylvania legislators will move to convert all new employees and those who have recently startred their careers into a defined contribution plan rather than a defined benefit plan.
The public is tired of paying higher and higher taxes to support the benefits of our "public servants". Although I am not holding my breath as the legislators have an even better defined benefit plan.
