Yard Waste Drop Off

Residents have the option of dropping off leaves or brush at the Downes Fire Station, located at the intersection of Beaver Grade and Ewing Roads. The drop-off site will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 4. Reap the benefits of your composting efforts by picking up wood chips and mature compost for your own yard. Arrange a compost pick-up by calling  the Public Works Department at 412-262-1700.
