Moon Parks & Recreation Earth Day

Come out to the Moon Parks & Recreation Earth Day event on April 13, 2014 from 1 pm-3 pm at Robin Hill Park in Moon Township. This year's theme is "Let it Bee." Check out the t-shirt designs made by the local elementary school students. T-shirts with the winning design will be distributed to the first 400 people in attendance. The National Aviary will be joining us with African Penguins! Burgh Bees will be having two presentations about honeybees and beekeeping. The Audubon Society will be conducting bird hikes as well. Plenty of other activities and exhibits will be offered! Take a chance at the Bee Wheel Fun prize wheel and try to win a bicycle courtesy of Moon Police and Dick's Sporting Goods. Bike helmets will also be distributed. Other exhibitors include Chevron, Walgreens, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, EAC, Moon Garden Club, and Hollow Oak Land Trust and more! We hope to see you there!
