Comfort Convoy for Our Troops

Walgreens and Y108 are partnering with Operation Troop Appreciation for a 4-day "Comfort Convoy" rolling through Pittsburgh to provide much needed hygiene, personal care and snack items to deployed troops, through a special ”Comfort Convoy” event being held at the Walgreens in Moon Twp, Rochester, Greensburg and Bethel Park, PA to help OTA fulfill wish-list requests it receives from troops deployed overseas.

At the event, customers can purchase items for the troops that will be given to OTA and then transported to the OTA Headquarters at Century III Mall. Volunteers will be on hand to also collect thank you cards, monetary donations, and provide information on troop support efforts through the organization.

Y108 will be broadcasting live daily from one of the locations, There will be prizes, games, raffles and activities for the kids!

Operation Troop Appreciation, a Pittsburgh-based 501 c3 non-profit, has helped more than 120,000 deployed service members since July 2004 by sending much need supplies, support, and well-wishes from home that boost morale and help to keep them safe.
